Galaxy Drive-In Theatre vs. Jerry Daniels

Notice that it says “vs” and not “v.” There’s a difference.
Here’s what I have to look at atop my golf cart when I make my routine “patrols” at the drive-in:

Neighbor Jerry Daniels has erected a flipping mirror to deflect our field light back into our property.

MikeGreenlee.com

My Freedom of the Press column for June 26:
MikeGreenlee.com
The Waxahachie Daily Light gave me a great deal of advertising last week on their Tuesday front page: by creating MikeGreenlee.com, a satire Web site designed to appear like a re-election site for recently-ousted Palmer Councilman Mike Greenlee, I was sued by not only Greenlee, but a [...]

Vote Libertarian – Again

My flirting with the Republican Party is officially over.
I’m dropping all of the major-party political labels and will be hired as a consultant to a couple of local Libertarian Party organizations in their media departments. Basically what that will entail is me setting up a training system to teach other LP chapters how to gain [...]

Waxahachie’s Daily wants to silence political speech

The editorials coming from the Waxahachie Daily Light are so liberal it’s a wonder how they endorsed Ron Paul in the presidential race this year, but, they’ve come out with a position to rid the county and country of offensive political speech.
Citing the recent Missouri case in which a mom who pretended to be a [...]

Special Thanks to DeSoto Private School

Yesterday I had the honor of speaking to Mrs. Tammy Ashford’s 5th grade social studies class at DeSoto Private School on the importance of our three branches of government and the special role the press plays on our government.

It’s one of the only schools that allow me to speak (unfortunately), but it might have something [...]

Does Michael Franks Owe You Money?

The Texas GOP Store – aka Michael Franks Printing – owes me and dozens of Republican Party chapters across the state quite a bit of money.
I teamed up with Franks at the Texas Straw Poll in Fort Worth last year and joined the TexasGOPStore as his marketing director. For a “15-20%” commission on individual sign [...]

Immigration Poem

Why I Love America!
I come for visit,
Get treated regal,
So I stay,
Who care if I illegal?
I cross border,
Poor and broke,
Take bus,
See employment folk
Nice man treat me good in there,
Say I need to see welfare,
Welfare say “you come no more,
We send cash right to your door.”
Welfare checks,
They make you wealthy,
Medi-cal,
It keep you healthy!
By and by,
I got plenty [...]

Government jobs are expendable

An Italy Police Department officer reportedly was asked to step down after I published a photo of his squad car outside of his jurisdiction – the location was right in front of the office of state Rep. Jim Pitts, [...]

Bookmark JoeyGDauben.com, as this will be a URL I’ll promote extensively (joeydauben.net will be more of a political use).

Hello, Palmer

Just a few things left and I’ll be 100% a Palmer resident. Nice house on Cosey Street, but the town is prone to controversial political figures.
Here’s hoping things go well; I won’t be riding into town on a tank. I want to show Ellis County that good government works.
