I’m getting serious about school this time, and a future goal that I believe is more realistic than dabbling** in electoral politics: becoming a lawyer.
And to do that, I’m going to have to separate myself from the distractions and disruptions that are prevalent in Ellis County and the Dallas area. I’m heading to New Hampshire to focus on my education, but I don’t intend to live there forever. I want to come back eventually, but after 27 years in the Lone Star State, it’s time to gain some cultural experiences in the Free State.
I’m still looking for an apartment or house or a room to rent, but I’m confident this will not be a problem.
The drive up there I’m really looking forward to. I drove to Washington, D.C. in 2003, so I know at least half the trip.
**I’m not done with this either, but with a legal background and education, I believe I can offer 200 times more than what I’ve done as a journalist/blogger
